Chosen to close out what was quite the star-studded night of performances, Rihanna wrapped up Day One of the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday (September 21).
With her set kicking off right around midnight, the Barbadian beauty preceded her stage effort with short and to the point tweet reading, “#3words I.HEART.RADIO.”
Scantily clad in a sparkly 23 jersey mini dress, RiRi treated MGM Grand Garden Arena audience members to an array of her past and present hits including opener “Only Girl (In The World),” followed by “Birthday Cake,” “Talk That Talk,” “Run This Town,” “What’s My Name” and “Live Your Life.”
The iHeart appearance comes just as it was revealed that the 24-year-old has teamed up with Ne-Yo for at least one track on her upcoming album.
While RIhanna has remained mum on the expected November disc, Ne-Yo gabbed about the collaboration with Rap-Up, as he dished, “I was just recently in the studio doing some stuff with Rihanna. The thing is, I never know what’s going to be kept, what she’s going to hold onto, what’s going to fall by the wayside… I know I got one or two on the album that she’s definitely keeping, but the rest is to be determined.”
